Located in an old, renovated gas station (remember when they were called filling stations?) in the heart of the historic West End of Winston Salem, The Old Fourth Street Filling Station combines delectable food with old-fashioned charm. Enjoy  the ambiance of a roaring fire in the dining room or relax beneath the stars on the largest yet coziest patio in the Triad.  The restaurant also offers a full bar and extensive wine list.  Call today to book your next social function or business meeting.  Reservations are accepted but not required.  Open for lunch and dinner with great specials every day.  Sunday Brunch served until 3:00 pm.

The Old Fourth Street Filling Station is known for its patio.  It has been voted "Best Patio" by Triad Style.  It is the only patio that offers year around dining in a covered area where heaters will keep diners warm even in January. The covered area is a favorite where guests are welcome to book private parties.

The wine list at The Old Fourth Street Filling Station is extensive.  Wednesday night is a popular night for wine lovers at the Filling Station.  Bottles of wine are half price when ordered with entrees, or try some Tapas and enjoy our fabulous house-made Sangria.

Families are always welcome!  Parents will love the fact that kids eat for free on  Monday nights.

We take a lot of pride in what we do because we want to be....."Simply the best......................food, service, atmosphere".  We look forward to your visit.

The oyster salad is the best in town. The service is, at best, adequate. But the food and atmosphere make up for it. So, take a date or a group of folks and go for the evening. A guy named Cle was playing when we went and he did some nice laid back music. Very relaxing and enjoyable.

Sunday Brunch was fantastic. Wanted to find some good pancakes and they were excellent. The Shrimp and Grits were also very tasty. We live in Greensboro and was worth the drive.

we made reservations and once we arrived the lady seating us was upset that my husband and i did not want to sit outside. I should have been told when i made the reservation a week and half in advance i was going to be expected sit outside. To top if off the resturant was only half full when we arrived and never filled of the whole time we were there so there was room for us to sit inside. Not everybody want to sit out on the patio.

In my past few visits I've noticed that the service can be spotty; once at peak dining hours I couldn't get a glass of water because all the glasses were either in use or dirty. Service after the lunch/dinner rush is fabulous. Great atmosphere; we'll definitely be back.
