Old Staley's Grill and Ale is a full service casual dining neighborhood restaurant and will open September 14, 2010 at 2000 Reynolda Road. Its main ingredients are REAL FOOD, REAL PEOPLE, and REAL ATMOSPHERE. It is uniquely located in the heart of town--within the footprint of Wake Forest, major entertainment venues, retail centers, neighborhoods, and commercial businesses.

Typical steak houses and chain restaurants dominate the market at every point but none offer the neighborhood feel like Old Staley's Grill and Ale at Reynolda Road. With a simple, affordable, and creative menu all patrons will be pleased and served well. Cold Beer is the staple along with choice wines and signature cocktails. The flat screens and vintage photos and the corrugated steel, rough sawn board and batten and exposed ducts create a casual yet comfortable environment for all.

sat in bar area and it was very understaffed. Wasn't the girls fault. The entire area was full and only 2 girls handling both the bar and the tables.

We loved the atmosphere. We felt the food was mediocre. I'm not a fan of salads made of shredded lettuce. We were first told there were no crab legs and then we were told some had been found but we could tell they were not fresh. I wonder if we got the "lesser" ones because of our gift certificate. We will go again because our visit was on a busy night and we feel a second chance is appropriate.

Very consistent restaurant. They cook a steak perfectly. The wait staff, at times, are motivationally challenged but the atmosphere and food makes up for it.

The wait staff doesn't help each other. It still feels like the wait staff is trying to work out the kinks. The food is fabulous!

The fish sandwich and the pick two seafood platter are very good.Friday night is fun with the band.The service has always been excellent.Love this neighborhood resturant.
