Excellent food, atmosphere, and service! Convenient and "trendy" location. My only complaint is that the restaurant is too small to allow smoking at the bar. Unless you sit at the very back of the restaurant, the smell and fumes are pretty strong. This is not safe health-wise and not enjoyable while one is eating. Otherwise I highly recommend it.

Wait staff was not as friendly as expected or as knowledgeable about wine list or menu. She seemed to be uncomfortable wiating on prople, maybe she was new. The food was excellent and would go back.

Our server, Catherine was OK. She met our needs but wasn't incredibly friendly. We were only served two rolls and she seemed put out when we asked for more. She said the kitchen would have to bake more bread. She also said that there would be an additional charge of $1.50 because I requested soup instead of a salad with my entree. I had never heard this before. Overall it was a great meal. I'm a big fan of H&H. I appreciate that you are now smoke-free and the happy hour specials are wonderful! You can't beat the free food too!

Go smoke-free! I have to sit towards the back because the smoke from the bar intrudes into the "non-smoking" section.

I had the crab stuffed shrimp and my husband had the seared tuna. It was great! The tuna came with wasabi mashed potatos and they were to die for. We hadn't visited the restaurant before and were really pleased with the service and the food. We can't wait to go back!

Our waitress was great. The service was excellent. The pimento cheese pizza is delicious. The Moravian Chicken pie was a bit dry. The atmosphere, decor, etc...is conducive to a long and enjoyable meal. My only complaint is that the restaurant is really too small to allow smoking at the bar. We sat towards the back to avoid the smoke, but there was still an odor. I realize that it's common to allow smoking at bars but I know of bar/restaurants that are or have recently gone smoke-free and their business has not seemed to suffer. In fact, I think that business would improve if your restaurant became smoke-free. If a table had not been available in the back I may not have stayed because the front of the restaurant is too smoky. I think many of us are becoming more health conscious and are choosing to avoid venues where we will be exposed to second-hand smoke. Please consider going smoke-free. Aside from that, H&H is a wonderful restaurant and I hope it continues to thrive.
