Owner Zac Smith went into the concession business about a year ago, and then decided to open a restaurant. He opened Bender's Tavern with Anna Freiberg.
Bender's Tavern offers a $5 daily lunch special with a drink that includes half a sandwich and salad or soup.
The restaurant also offers daily diner fair such as baked spaghetti or fish and chips.
